Ira Dubey feels she is half naked in the film ‘Aisha’, Anil Kapoor’s home production, after sporting shorts and tank tops in almost 60 to 70 per cent of the film. Daughter of actress Lillete Dubey, Ira is playing the character of Aisha’s (Sonam Kapoor) best friend in the film.
The clothes are designed according to the character that Ira portrays in the film. Her character is wilder and at times loud. So the clothes are designed to reflect that.
Ira says, “My character in Aisha is quite flamboyant and wild. So my clothes required to be bizarrely quirky and bold. Fashion is a huge element in Aisha.”
Ira was seen in ‘The President is Coming’ a film by Rohan Sippy. The 26 year old actress also has some experience in theatre.
The other actors in the film barring Ira Dubey and Sonam Kapoor are Abhay Deol, Arunoday Singh, Amrita Puri and Lisa Haydon. Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea Kapoor is the producer of the film.
